Not only that but it would save ALOT of battery life.

i suggest to pause all live wallpaper when program is maximised or when camera app is opened. This would help keep video recording smoothly even its already struggled to get full frame rate without anything running.

then run xterminal and code
dpkg -i /home/user/MyDocs/modified-hildon-desktop_2.0_armel.deb
