not that this is any new info, but i just called nokia shop @sweden, and they are still having end of november as release date, and thats not even a 100% release.
they also said that they will get info about the release only 1-2 days before its released..

Thanks Nokia i sold my N97 and i pre-ordered The N900 from USA and because of this I and all of us WE ARE OFFLINE!!!!! This is the real life! :D

Unfortunatley there are many.

Anyways Just spoke to Phones4u about the n900 and they said hpefully before christmas?! :confused:

Must not be available to them before then, but unfortunately I might have to go through them as no-one else will buy out the last 6 months of my contract and I cant afford to pay 2 contracts at one (again). Argh!! Unless I sell my n96 and get a decent deal on a sim free n900? might be an idea!!

OMFG, Nokia Shop Czech has put down their N900 page. I called them and the lady said that a) there was a date for Czech but somehow that wont happen and b) they dont have enough units to sell over here and it could get delayed to January...wtf? This seems weird. I dont believe for one second what she said, no frickin way. So i call the Nokia Store and they said 20/11/2009 is still valid and dont know about any delays as of yet. Hm, hm, hm....NOKIA PLEASE SAY SOMETHING LOL, Peter? :D

Ok let me rephrase that. Is there usually a delay between a phone's release from the manufacturer (NOKIA) in a sim-free variety, and the main high street outlets like TCW getting them in? Or is the release date usually the same?
