So jolla has a deal With network operators in Finland and Denmark so far? Haven't seen the china campaign yet. Anywhere else in Europe? Germany, Norway and Sweden was top nations when it came to Ubuntu edge so sailfish could work well as well.

Didn't they say something like they were going to have it ready for the Chinese New Year (31 Jan) for that market?

Yep, they said ages ago that China would be around then, ofc things could've changed...
They may decide to make it approx. the same time as Finland/EU, or make it later than Jan 31st.

and thats understandable. I am suprised they still say they will deliver Q4 this year.... They must work like crazy get that happen because of change SoC and so on...

I mean look at the history libhybris, Qt5 and wayland was not the plan start of this year... so all respect to the engineers...

Or Lumia 800/900 which couldn't upgrade to WP8 - which was totally ironic that Nokia proclaimed the "beta test was over" only to have to come out with the 920 under a year later.

Face it, you name the platform, you'll find people that are penalized for being early adopters.

Remind me if English is your not your native language please. Yes, it's a penalty of sorts. Here's a somewhat outdated list where early adopters got burned.
