ok what about the imaged
links please

It isn't MeeGo, if it was MeeGo Nokia wouldn't be having problems branding it as such. The fact it uses debian packages is probably one of the largest issues with it getting a MeeGo badge. All of this information has been discussed in great length on the meego and maemo mailing lists as well as talk.maemo.org ..

no. because it will have to be recompiled if it was compiled, but if it is a script(bash, python, etc) then just hacked(if needed) then repackaged.

As part of Nokia & Microsoft partnership, they've agreed to share IP and aspects of their patent portfolios. This will hopefully definitely work in both companies advantages and I'm sure Nokia will get a good deal on integrating with MS services like exchange and (now) skype. This should also, hopefully, not be limited to WP7 but also benifit existing and future Symbian devices (and hopefully MeeGo & Harmattan).

That sounds great. I feel like the N900 already has one of the best Skype implementations around since it's not a separate app like it is on other platforms. The fact that it's fully integrated into the phone is great, also no Wifi to 3G connection issues like you see with the iPhone (though not sure if that is currently still a limitation for Apple).

It can only get better on the N9/50 right?

do you think that bill gates will suffer a morale crisis about all the livesd he destroyed and all system admin that suffered nervous breakdoowns because of his companies software then declare all code owned by microsoft open source and re-assign all of his programers to developing any open source project they like
what just wishful thinking

About the other post; Is really 32GB of ram on the iPhone??

I was able to connect a 750GB drive AND a flash memory card reader at the same time via h.e.n. with a powered hub, so I think it is doable to give 4TB of storage(with a 4-ports hub):)

pyside (python for QT) is not in core Meego atleast not yet.

maybe harmattan will have it, but if they have it, people here will start to whine even more that harmattan is not Meego and "we should not support it"

btw. MeegoN900de is also using hardfp. soo it should be that hard port apps now :)
