If they start shipping on monday 9th when do you think we will get emails in regards to payment etc could it be today.

Will see today if some shipping arrived in some store so keep a look during the day. This would be a positive sign that shipping will be soon if not maybe another delay.

I know, I didn't order there but the point is if we see quantity arriving it is a positive sign because nobody knows(except Peter) when store will receive their shipping it as to be them (stores) before us.

If it happens, it happens. I'll keep waiting. But I don't think it will, seeing as how they haven't given a date here before this one, and how it's stayed quite certain for the past 2.5-3 weeks now.

Well, Nokia has spun the idea out with a more seasonal twist and is offering your town the chance to get a ‘real’ Finnish Christmas this year. That means more snow than your kids will have ever seen in their life, Reindeers, Elves, presents and everything we expect from a fun Christmas, all overseen by the man in red himself, Santa Claus but will you recive your n900 for xmas like f%$k you will.

as anyone contacted Nokia UK today to see if we are still on for Monday?
I'd contact them but already sent them emails this week so I'm scared they will put me to the back of the cue if i keep bothering them. :)

Maybe the reason why Nokia isn't providing any information considering the N900's release date is, because even they actually don't know it themselves and do not want to promise any date (which may turn out to be wrong)?

then they shouldnt announce it so early, they did that in september. Simply unprofessional.

I've phoned them everyday their open, as soon as they answer they just say 'still Monday Nicky' then hang up !!

I think i'll phone them just before close today and remind them that i will stab them and petrol bomb their homes if they are lying, of course i will convey this in a polite and non threatening manner.

As long as it comes out this year it's not that big difference in announcement and release.
Samsung, SE and Nokia got 2-6 months difference on the announcement and release on a regular basis.

Trust me i'm a phone addict and have many phones in a year and this isn't yet nothing(X1 or N97 are good examples for what you actually needed to wait :D).

I am guessing that you have ordered yours direct from Nokia UK online, I have mine on order from MPD who run the Nokia Stores, I thought MPD were still saying the 16th, so am i right in thinking that direct from Nokia online has one date and from the Nokia stores it is a week later?:confused:
