My current setup.

theme: an-DROID with colors tuned a bit
font: Droid Sans
walls: humanity theme
icons: humanity_icons
Customization done "manually": none

The theme is pleego from black plastic addon pack 2, I made my own task launcher icon that follows the original design.

The background is from n900 wallpapers and is called eos remix.
icons have been modded where necessarry, have had their background and their pressed state background removed.

OMWeather is using the iconset posted above along with a set of transparant pngs as the omweather widget background.

Media player, app manager etc are all using various bgs from the eos remix and the lock screen was a 5 minute photoshop special.

Various things like the done button in the menu (edit menu), the close button on the task switchers, the notifications and banners I have all edited to follow my theme slightly better.
I can supply you with any elements you need if you want to have a bash at putting it all together.

hello D4rKlar, the shadows of the icons in the wallpaper, you make it in the wallpaer and after fit the icons or is any kind of efect to make the icons have a shadow??:p

where can i find the png that i need to edit? i have never noticed the facebook 1 when i have been editing, also is there any way to edit the datetotoday widget? i wanna change the standard red/white calander colour's to match in with my other widget colours.

i used queen beecon widget,

use a semi transparent image for the background.

command date +%A for day.

command date +"%d %B %Y" for the date.

I have rootsh, just browsing the MOD thread, but it's huge and too much scattered info for me to learn from. Is there somewhere I can find basic info on changing icons?

Accessing your files and folders is easier this way. Once you manage this, then everything else will make much more sense in this thread..........and trust me when I say it's worth slowly reading this entire thread. Many great minds on this one, plenty of great work.

You might want to search for RD mode I believe is what it is called.

Probably not right to crash this thread ( refer....maemo.org > Talk > OS / Platform > Maemo 5 / Fremantle > Can't re-flash N900 because it wont turn off!), although things have progressed and are somewhat worse now! I do note though that if you search "N900 won't boot" in these forums there are many examples!

To change the "Datetoday widget" colour/Date Png, all you do is change the calendar PNG. which will be in "Icons" file of your theme!

As it uses the same Icon as the default calendar ( if I remember right ).

Now the Facebook is a sore point :o coz i forgot to write it down:mad:.
I'll tell you as soon as I find it again.

i have changed the main calander icon in the menu tho & the datetoday widget has stayed the same? would i find this in 48x48 or is it in another location? i have looked all over for the files to change datetoday & facebook & these are the only 2 i have not found!
