Well, WP7 using bog standard old Qualcomm 1GHz Snapdragon CPU is super smooth and quite fast.
But yeah, obviously we want something MUCH better than that. =P

No, it's random dream spec list that got nothing to do with the device(s) we are seeing next week.

If you have followed Nokia for much over 7 years and followed the RM-680 for over a year you might think otherwise. :)

I wonder where they have this specs from...

about cpu:

if they really use the HDready resolution for the display, it should be a dual core cpu to handle graphical applications (or games) in native resolution... IMHO

Seems like a real quality post that one!
I particularly love the bit that goes
- 12 mega pixels autofocus camera
- 3264 x 2448 pixels of high camera resolution

A thing I discovered regarding the topic of the 2010 calendar entry (some of you saying that would prove the video is old):

Look at this picture: https://picasaweb.google.com/meetmee...34221986868354

Yes, it shows 2010 January 29, Wednesday as the current day. Put aside that Jan 29 was a Friday last year. But what's more important: The week after Jan 29, there is Jan 66... :o

No, there are two 6 likely because of de-interlacing. There should only be one 6.

Re: Nokia N9 Teaser - is this meego or harmattan?

isn’t is possible that this video is indeed old (2010). I mean it could be that Nokia made the vid when this device was meant to be the „mass-market-device. They could just add some newer clips (Anna-Icons) so you get the feeling that the video is new. And i don’t think this vid was a leak either, it’s more a marketing strategy. Now everybody is talking and speculating about the device (HYPE!!). That is the cheapest way of marketing a product :) And on the other hand it makes people stop complaining about the WP7 deal, the death of symbian, the massive layoffs.....
Nokia: Mission accomplished! :)

yes and there is another post stating that the New C5-04 is running symbian^5 (obviously he meant s60v5).

also 3264 x 2448 is 8mpx (maybe you meant that by saying the quality of the post but I had to use a calculator)

Its not fake and Google says page was created last month so can't be very old either.
I've already said when I found the page I dont know the device the packages was on but what we can be certain of is 99% of them packages will be found on all Harmattan devices

Directory browsing is allowed on their server, so I checked date of this pkgs file:

but why one teaser for two devices instead of two teasers or maybe as zymo said it might nokias way of telling us that there are two devices and everything else that was deduced from what seems at first glance as a useless teaser because they knew there were cyko's like us out there that would analyse the video (not to mention back it up so it is available after they remove it) in a methodly prossedure that scotland yard would be proud of

i am still not sure that it really are two devices... for me, its just one device, just with different points of view...

can anyone proof me wrong please?

Re: Nokia N9 Teaser - is this meego or harmattan?

RX-71 while just as old as RX-51 as far as we know have been appearing on bug and mailing lists still, just like RX-51(N900).

Either the whole device has been inside joke since the start to tease us or it's just still used internally(more likely).

EDIT:

i agree
i think that this confusion is because at some pics some smart parts are not visible... which can be due to photoshop... e.g. the picture with the cam lens. The screw for the backcover is missing... imho its just photoshop to get the focus of the audience on the cam.

zymo 2011-05-20 08:20

take a look at the camera-module, on one pic the the screw benny mentioned is missing.

photoshop to get the audience focussed to the important thing... the 12MP cam ;) IMHO
and thats the only thing i can see that is different comparing all pictures

But i am sure that 12mp camers "slip up" was diliberate so they could brag about 12 mp camera without getting negative feedback that goes along the lines of complaints from people saying that we know cpu storage etc instead of being tantalized by information so obvious that it is useless

I'm SURE that there will be keyboardless device. IMO. Let's see :D .. Personally I wait for qwerty-device. I'll turn into other brands if it's not intended for massmarkets, only for developers.

Yeah I agree....
I call BS on all this supposed two devices purely on the basis of those comparative pictures.
IMO none of the comparative pictures I've seen, prove "without question" that there's 2x devices in that clip.

Huh, I thought you were in agreement with brock a few posts back?
I'm saying that claiming there's two phones on the basis of those pictures alone... is "iffy" at best.
If there's other reasons why you're sure there's two being released, please do share them.
