Just change the language at the top right corner to English. PayPal changes the language to the owners language....

I installed Whatsup 1.3.2 and received some (not all) messages in groups and private conversation.

I was able to answer some of the messages but now every outgoing message stays red.

Updated to 1.3.2 too, but seems like i can't send nor get messages yet... can't find anything noteworthy in the log.

Guys, it seems that the connection needs to be stabilized.
This could take a (little) while. Just let it wait to connect.
It is possible that it drops connection from time to time, but after a while, it shouldn't drop anymore.

If it does not auto connect, just touch on the Connect button to let it re-connect.

It should work after some time.

I guess some more investigation is needed :(

the connection icon is blue, but the messages aren't arriving/sending

@claustn I'm afraid that's an encrypted message, which Whatsup does not support.

I hope it will be supported later on, but IF and WHEN... that, I don't know about :(

I already installed version 1.3.2, weeks ago,:( when it was released, but doesn't work also. Yesterday it have arrived a lot of messages and I was able to send some messages too. But that lasted only a few minutes. :(

Whatsup stopped working properly for me at 1.3.1.
The day 1.3.2 was release I installed it and it worked for around 30 minutes, in which it downloaded tons of old messages. And then it got stuck, connecting but not receiving nor sending any messages.

Today I was added to a new group, even though I mentioned I don't have a working whatsapp client, and I decided to open WhatsUp just to see what would happen. And it worked for around 10 minutes, received some 50 messages, sent some 10 test messages I'd sent some weeks ago... and got stuck again, connecting but doing nothing.

I usually wait for other users to report the errors I'm having, but this time the application seems to be behaving completely at random; working perfectly for some and not at all for others.
I pretty much accepted a life without whatsapp(since there's no Jolla in Brazil and I have only my N9), but today's incident made me curious.

It happens the same to me, it downloaded lots of groups, received some new messages and then nothing, still disconnected.

I use VIVO, but the same thing happened in all wifi networks I tried. I don't think it's related to our carriers.

Agreed. Also having connection difficulties and I am from the Netherlands. Whatsup does connect, but messages are not send.

FYI WhatsApp official now support encryption, maybe that's the problem... Just guessing, long live MeeGo

What network operator do you use? I use Tele2. Connects but can't receive messages from Lumia users =(

I use Telia, it is the only operator that works good up here in north.
