Exact release date where? In UK, US, Indonesia, South Africa or Brazil? Would you like all the other markets to wait before they put the devices on sale until even the most remote locations have some in stock? Not to mention that there are several retailers in each market. Do you mean a release date when you will be able to walk to your nearest brick&mortar shop and buy one off the shelf? Or do you want a release date when your pre-order will arrive by mail to your doorstep?

Seems like you're quite happy with Nokia the way they've handled the 'release' (or not) of the N900 - good luck in receiving it soon (we can only hope).
