My sky remote no longer works, shame as it was the 1 and only remote that worked :( tried rebooting phone etc etc, worked great before, updated to pr1.2 now nothing :(

Flashing PR1.2 did not solve the empty remotes page. Program author, please fix this bug! Tell me how I can help you do that. Thank you.

Qtirreco no longer works after the 1.2 update. Can anyone else confirm this?


Edit: My old remote no longer works. I've tried downloading a slightly different version of the remote and it seems to work... idk

hi, i found that' BN59-00861A' is available , but when i search for 'download remote' i cant see it,

yup i confirm that.
same problem as before.
EMPTY remotes page :@!
i flashed my emmc and IRRECO worked for a bit.
then it stopped working too.
its not picking up the remote codes for sum reason.
(downloaded xbox 360 remote. worked once completely.next time i opened it, edit button->add a command.couldnt FIND any commands!
the xbox commands arent there any more! any fix?)

HEY chadim!
i think ive found a temporary fix to OUR problem.
download whatever remotes u want from the IRRECO app.
it will be saved in the internallircdevices folder inside the irreco folder. copy those files (in my case the xbox360 file) and paste them into the Devices folder in qtirreco.
now once you create a new remote and create a new button for the remote, youll be able to see the pasted file (eg:xbox360)
then its just patient work to create all the buttons and your good to go!
check it out and let me know asap!
(i know it defeats the purpose of having qtirreco in the 1st place, but check it out n see if it works!)

haha glad i could help. wanted to get this app running since a very long time.
one more thing, how strong is your ir range?
mines pritty small. is there anyway i could boost the ir signals the same way you use fm booster to boost the fm transmitter strength?

About 3 or 4 meters? What about you? Make you you are not partially blocking the IR port, and close the keyboard, it may make a difference.

I'd like to add that there are a few non working features in our version, mangal_sk8erboy.

1. It is not possible to set the delay between multiple commands, it is stuck to 3000ms (it can only be changed from the file).
   
2. The background color can not be changed, only an image can be added.
   
3. As before, no remotes can be downloaded, nor themes.

@mangal_sk8erboy: can you confirm?
@program author: is it possible to find the error now?
