what theme are you using?

Umm if I remember right you will need to change 48 as you said and a smaller is for the conrol panel. As the 64 just is for Appshortcut and the menu.

Sorry I'm at work at the Mo, I'll look into it when I get home.

I've gone minimal and i'm only using one desktop, maybe i will use two in the near future... I just got tired of flipping through 4 screens...

Here's my tweaks all done in gimp on the phone. I've only redone the icons/wallpaper, not made them from scratch ;) (kudos to all the people i borrowed from) :D

Look in 48X48. general_calendar.png.. and if your theme uses its own Icons? like Blackplastic! just replace that png. If it uses the default Icon like some do, just add your new Icon to "deepblue" .

If that fails change the default one ( keep a backup ) and reboot

If someone will tell me how I can package up this theme (which is generated by black plastic theme) I'd be really greatful.

Obviously full respect to D-livil for the original theme and a big thanks to the person that made the wallpapers.

Would it just be a case of taking the theme folder and changing the index.theme to give it a new name.

I do have one small issue, the images in my custom theme are being over written with standard pleego images every time I change theme.
Will this become a non-issue when/if I package it up as my own theme?

hi.. get question ..I using the Personal IP address widget..but it clashes with my desktop as the background image is black I've looked through all my icons and images but can't seem to find where it's located..any ideas where it's hiding..ty

You need to know the exact name for it to work otherwise do this in xterm:

dpkg -l (small L) gives you a list over all the packages installed on your phone.

Soooooo... it's not 'just' a case of editing the filepath/name for the app to be launched and the path for the new icon?

...'Cuz if someone made a script like that we could easily edit it ourselves for any app ;)

Lock is ..

MAKE SURE YOU SET THESE TO UPDATE ON "CLICK" ONLY.

Coz if you set them for "startup and desktop" they will get stuck in a loop. (Ie ) with the lock one! Your N900 will lock as soon as it starts and when you unlock it ! It will just lock again and again and so on.

okay thanks !!! how about disappearing the status bar which holds time,menu icon,battery,signal etc, how did u manage to disappear it, so dat it looks same for a wallpaper...

EDIT: The files replace those of the same name in the 'images' folder of the current theme you are using, normally

opt/usr/share/themes/YOUR THEME/images

Q I've not tried it yet, gonna try en-masse 2moro and see what happens but as always many thanks mate :D

Thanks to D4rKlar i now understand how to do custom icons. Soo, could someone kindly provide a link to a custom bluetooth icon, preferably one of the 'steely grey' looking ones? Any nice RSS and Twitter ones would go down a treat too :)

Here are my 4 desktops. Main one, with shortcuts, clock to Arizona, conky, weather.

Second is internet and games, along with my command widgets for battery, overclocking, rootfs and profiles

Third is media - media play widget, FMTX widget, other media player shortcuts, recaller and bluetooth, email and calendar widgets

Fourth is photo slideshow and yellow notes
(a lot to thank d4rklar for it seems!)

Make one? Wow, that's kind!

Background clear would be good, i have my shorcuts and widgets without backgrounds wherever possible so the wallpaper can be seen, so a simple 'steel' RSS logo (the stripes) would be fantastic, but only if it's no trouble
