Yes it often reacts a little bit late. But I think that's more a software-problem. It definitely isn't different to the original one in that aspect.

I saw this XKCD comic recently and it reminded me immediately of all mobile OSes, including Sailfish.
They all fall into #2 (think OOM).

Hi, i'd like to know if you would recommend buying a new Jolla at the Moment. Also regarding all the trouble around the Company. I use my Phone (N9) only for really basic stuff (but it would be nice for me to be able to use a few Android apps which i can't use at the moment). Are the serious hardware problems? The thread is kinda long, so i hope i get an answer. Thanks a lot.

As someone who got one a few days ago I would say......... Well, I don't know, I skipped N9 so I made a transition from N900. In some aspects I like it a lot, UI is not hildon but it is more than decent replacement. I can't comment on android compatibility but if you need something for basic stuff than I would say go for it.

Now after using my jolla phone again after a while i'd like to say that sf2 is mostly ok. Still couldn't do without these patches - Launcher combined patches with its transparent launcher and especially the nonpaged launcher scrolling option here. Paged implementation by Jolla with no scroll indicator is baad! With coderus patch i can see my current location on launcher, and swipe through 4 pages of icons with a single swipe! Also, it eliminates the need for 'dummy' swipe when scrolling back to the beginning of the launcher screen.

Secondly 'Quick settings on power menu' with swipe down to close an app deactivated makes toggles so much better accessible.

I hope Jolla considers these kind of changes for official version, too.

Ps. And delivers the tablet too, of course. Good to see them restoring their business, hopefully.

4 pages?? You know you can use folders in the launcher, right?

I don't like folders, they require additional tap to open. :)
I'm only using folders for useless icons.

Has anyone tried booking a flight with Ryanair using the Jolla's stock browser?
I can give you a piece of advice. Don't.
