At the rate this is going, be the time it comes out it'll probably be lowered in price to below $500...one can only hope.

Hmm...just read Newegg's price guarantee...apparently they don't a price guarantee. So if your order ships, then the price goes down, I'd have to send back the phone and pay a 15% restocking fee...sheesh...

Yeah, I just placed an order from newegg. will be cancelling the order with NokiaUSA in the morning. Saving about $150 over Nokia USA (newegg stopped charging sales tax to NY).

i have pre order with nokiausa back on sept, now im in doubt wheter they can stick to end of Oct ship date. should i cancel and switch to newegg? help:confused:

I dont kno why.. but I still feel the end of oct may hold up.. I just cant force myself to believe the date is now mid nov.

I called pcconnection.com about my order and he verified that it was on back-order and without me asking he looked a little deeper and said that the first shipment they receive will be on 22Oct.2009 and will go to fill back-orders and the next will be 26Oct.2009 and those will go to fill back-orders. and that mine was in the first 10 orders so mine should go out on 22 but if not it will on the 26.

So... could it be that 22th October will be the release-date for those who pre-ordered early? That'd confirm (at least partially) the info from my source about the release date.
