really nice work ive just tried it, nfsu works great and looks awesome. could you please list us the already tested games that runs well enough

So, I installed preenv and tried to give it a go. Unfortunately, I don't have a Pre so there aren't many apps that I can find to test.

I was thinking it would be great if I could download some apps from Palm's website, e.g. Foursquare

(Yes, I know that Barriosquare runs on the N900 and I use it. I'm just looking for apps to test).

Unfortunately, I could not find a way to download it.

I did manage to download prefox
http://www.fractalbrew.com/labs/prefox/

but it fails with

./prefox: symbol lookup error: /home/user/palm/com.fractalbrew.prefox/libxul.so: undefined symbol: PDL_GesturesEnable

Any other ideas of ways to get Pre apps to test?

ey guys, i extracted the nfsuc, it is located file manager/ nokia n900/Drive/nfsuc...and now the big question...How to run the game? :)

Though Settlers 1.1.1 is supposed to be playable, as seen in the wiki and some pictures uploaded by users, I haven't been able to run it.

This is the log from the console:

lol its just another gsm forum where someone else has posted them games.

Who edited the Preenv wiki page? duno why some stuff was removed as it was there to help people.

Its still linking to illegal content. And thats the kind of stuff that gets the attention of game manufacturers. Especially since the story of being able to run pre games on the N900 has been all over the tech blogs last few days.

Do you want to risk losing this app simply because some clowns can't use google and find their own stuff? Or better yet because they are too cheap to buy a pre from ebay at low cost and BUY the damn games like some of us did.

Btw anyone got Asphalt5 to work? I got it running but everytime I try to load a level up before the loading meter gets to the end it just crashes/exits back to the terminal with the segmentation error.

any ideas on this 1?

Another thing ive noticed is that how come all the palm pre games such as glyder, asphalt5, etc are getting released on windows 7 phone? isnt that pointless giving a new handset old games?
And I used to think angry birds was new when it first came out.
