I think they usually say 5 working days but its probably gonna be 1 day. they are just covering themselves from any customer that will whine "where the f is my phone, you said 1 day its been 2 days" if its delivered late.

btw i know this is my second post but I have been following this thread for a number of weeks now.

Welcome aborad, most of us did a similar thing :) - i was following most of september and only joined in november :)

Goo dluck with your delivery for tomorrow :) - i work 5 minutes from my house so i'm expecting a phone call saying a phone like box has appeared!

Unfortunatley i did all my xmas shopping last week - so i've had about 15 boxes delivered in the last 2 days!! - lots of false alerts! :(

Has anyone here had confirmation on a PAYG?

I ordered back on the 18th Sep. but my order is still sitting in 'New (Other)' state

looks like the people who have order their nokia n900 on contract have had the order status changed to ready for dispacth, however i bought the phone on a sim free deal, and my order status says new (other). does any1 else have the same order status as me?
my order was placed on the 3rd nov.

I ordered sim free and also have "New (Other)"... don't despair as MPD have said to me that there is no pending state for sim free as the pending bit is linked to the credit check for a contract. It seems that us handset only guys don't get anything till it leaves the doors and they take the money from our account.

NB. I must stress that this does mean taking MPD's customre service guys at their word... but they wouldn't lie to us now, would they?

No there are still a few of us on contract who ordered early on who's status still hasn't changed form pending

MPD Orders - when they ship your phone the status shold change to complete.

And you should get an email saying phone has been dispatched with a final invoice.

At least thats what happened on an N97 I ordered for the other half last week.

If you get the "complete" status by 3.30pm then your phone will be with you tomorrow, else its the waiting game.......................

Ahh don't... that's only 1.5 hours... That's not very long at all!!

Then again, I reckon they might all switch at pretty similar times, once they are all out of the door etc...

Spoke to them today morning, as i've lost the debit card i used when i placed the order in october so needed to give them new card details so that they can charge delivery.

They gonna call back when my order is being processed, i asked when its likely they will call and i got the standard "within 5 working days" reply.

hopefully its soon........... this is the longest i've waited for a phone !!!!

Maybe 3pm during normal volumes. But now there would be a lot more records to update. Another couple of hours maybe?

Just got another call from them, as the original order was over 30 days ago so the credit card authorisation had lapsed.

Looks like most people will be getting a phone call!

Its possible, depending on how their system does it. If its automated, maybe latest 4.30pm ? cant see it taking longer than an hour to update !

hmmm i have not had a phone call as yet.

when did you order and when did your order change to ready to dispatch.

mine changed first thing this morning ordered on 6 october

no phone calls yet

Im hoping that the ready to dispatch means that the order is processed and waiting collection by Royal Mail, so hopefully should get complete status by 3pm.

Anyone been charged £3.99 delivery today/yesterday on their card ?

I had a webchat this morning, posted earlier, the customer services bod said all status' with ready for despatch will be sent today...

You know by it's very definition "Ready to Despatch" should mean, it's in it's packaging with my name and address on it. Waiting for Royal Mail. Am I wrong?

Maybe some peoples' card authorisation expires and some peoples' does not... Otherwise, wouldn't we all have had calls by now? There's plenty of September people...no-one's mentioned that. If you ordered in Oct, and its going out tonight...there's hope for us all!

I paid by debit card - maybe it doesn't need authorisation like a credit?
