I want it tomorrow!
I think they usually say 5 working days but its probably gonna be 1 day. they are just covering themselves from any customer that will whine "where the f is my phone, you said 1 day its been 2 days" if its delivered late. btw i know this is my second post but I have been following this thread for a number of weeks now. |

looks like the people who have order their nokia n900 on contract have had the order status changed to ready for dispacth, however i bought the phone on a sim free deal, and my order status says new (other). does any1 else have the same order status as me?
my order was placed on the 3rd nov. |

MPD Orders - when they ship your phone the status shold change to complete.
And you should get an email saying phone has been dispatched with a final invoice. At least thats what happened on an N97 I ordered for the other half last week. If you get the "complete" status by 3.30pm then your phone will be with you tomorrow, else its the waiting game....................... |

Ahh don't... that's only 1.5 hours... That's not very long at all!!
Then again, I reckon they might all switch at pretty similar times, once they are all out of the door etc... |

Spoke to them today morning, as i've lost the debit card i used when i placed the order in october so needed to give them new card details so that they can charge delivery.
They gonna call back when my order is being processed, i asked when its likely they will call and i got the standard "within 5 working days" reply. hopefully its soon........... this is the longest i've waited for a phone !!!! |

Just got another call from them, as the original order was over 30 days ago so the credit card authorisation had lapsed.
Looks like most people will be getting a phone call! |

Im hoping that the ready to dispatch means that the order is processed and waiting collection by Royal Mail, so hopefully should get complete status by 3pm.
Anyone been charged £3.99 delivery today/yesterday on their card ? |

You know by it's very definition "Ready to Despatch" should mean, it's in it's packaging with my name and address on it. Waiting for Royal Mail. Am I wrong?

Maybe some peoples' card authorisation expires and some peoples' does not... Otherwise, wouldn't we all have had calls by now? There's plenty of September people...no-one's mentioned that. If you ordered in Oct, and its going out tonight...there's hope for us all!
