maemo.org - Talk - N900 shipping delayed

got some news...i was on the phone with newegg, and the customer service guy said..we will not ship the phone before the launch and expected date of shipment is 30/11. So i gather from the information that they already have the phone stocked up, but are waiting for the go-ahead from nokia to begin shipment...I hope its gonna be a maemo Christmas this year..

Reminds me of when they told me "shipping will begin on 11/14", but at least they told you "expected date of shipment" this time.

Hey guys, nokia n900 is really being released! Nokia online shop UK says: Estimated delivery date: week commencing 23rd November." Not tentative, but ESTIMATED!!!Wooohhooo! :) Also you can buy ir from nokia flagship store!

i'm sure they would have shipped on the 14th if nokia had given them the go-ahead to do so...they are all stocked up..but they cant sell before nokia begins to ship its products..that will make nokia look bad..really bad

I actually just got a call from Discover asking if I would like to let the pending transaction from BestBuy post, my N900 transaction, woot! I ordered in the wee hours of Monday morn this week once I heard they were carrying it. Still shows backordered on their site but perhaps it will ship in the next day or two.

the nokia online email always says 3-4 weeks as done since september, but the 23rd date on the site was only added today
