I cant get it to work...
First it doesnt show any files in the folder view.. Then I did the chown thing but now the terminal just says "aborted" when I try to launch pcsx... Any help?

Install psx4m-gui and it will install everything you need. It's the newest version of the emulator and includes the pcsx rearmed core, which is much faster at running psx games than pcsx4m.

i tried to play urban chaos but the game lags a lot even at 805mhz..what to do?

You're installing the wrong emulator. Search the repos for psx4m-gui and try that instead.
