What's all this about phone calls and authorisation? My payment method is debit card (on contract) which was credit checked/authorised back in Sept then again last Friday (since the first ran out).

guy mentioned it had been over 30 days and needed to redo payment
total cost about £33. £30 for handset and rest on delivery

I ordered 26/11/09 and it still says "pending stock".

Seems to be whats happening with mine. tho my payment for delivery is within 30 days so i guess i couldnt really say.

if you know, did your status change from pending stock to ready for dispatch after the call or before? maybe that could clarify if "everyone" is getting a call or not maybe? :s

It does seem that they're processing the orders in a very much NOT first come first serve basis. Not that im complaining cos i'll be getting mine a bits sooner that expected but still its not really fair on everyone.

I've tried- all i get is their answering machine telling me they're too busy dealing with the stock of HTC and N900 t come to the phone and to use their online chat- which isn't there. grrr

Got the day off but now realised I can go to my daughter Christmas play (wife won't take no for an answer as she's got to endure it)... it's so going to be delivered as I'm watching 7 year old amateur dramatics. Damn!

Someone posted the direct link to the weblink some pages back... and you can get through but you really have to hammer the phones with your redial button.

I think we're all a little unclear on that but it seems that if your phone is free you may not get a call and also if its been less than 30 days since you placed your order you wont get a call either
