I don't know if it's the right thread for my question...

I'm currently customizing a theme that I downloaded. I changed a lot of PNGs and it works perfectly. But now, background and text colors don't match very well with my modifications. How can I change the frame background color, popup menu background color and title text color, for example? I've noticed a colors.config file and a CSS file. I've edited them both but nothing happens. (By the way, what is the subtle difference between those two files?)

I'm trying to modify the Pleego theme from the Black Plastic app. Since there is a small applet to change settings bundled with this app, maybe editing conf file isn't enough?

Did you edit the gtkrc file in gtk-2.0? ;)

Also try deleting the gtkrc.cache,

Can someone please tell me where i can find firefox icon? It isn't in 64x64 or apps in the hildon folder

The firefox icons are actually named fennec.png.

You will find them in the following locations.
usr/share/icons/hicolor/26x26/hildon/fennec.png
usr/share/icons/hicolor/40x40/hildon/fennec.png
usr/share/icons/hicolor/scalable/hildon/fennec.png
I have been doing more fooling around chopping and changing icons to the point of obsession lately.

I have used icons from Faenza, D4rk, and others I am sure, gimping/shopping them, etc etc. Havent found a wmtasklaunchericon really, just trying things out.

I use them from the Ubuntu theme I use. The icon pack came from tiheum @ deviantart. This is his Faenza pack.

I just used gimp and photoshop to make them suit me, along with ones I got from the good people here at TMO.

I don't know if I should bundle up stuff which includes others work. I don't wish to take credit.

Okay, I'll make sure I have all the ones I have changed (as I haven't changed them all as yet) together, as I replaced them in dribs and drabs and zip them up. I am using the black plastic theme as the base.

Could take a while...

I wish I knew how to repackage the whole lot as an installable theme.

Haha, i had a really similar idea to that too! I don't think i'm familiar enough with it to change the menu button though - i can change it, but it won't be in keeping with the theme so it'll just look terrible

Ok here are my new screenshots. Home screen with clock, internet connections, battery, calendar date, custom icons for scout, photo album, contacts, phone, email, conversations and settings, and the numbers 2-6 are custom icons for desktop switcher widget.

Screen 2, internet screen with custom icons for firefox, RSS, microB, Twitter and Opera (Opera is simply the 'O' from the same icon set as the 2-6 numbers on home screen). Also have a house icon, which is icon for screen 1 on desktop switcher widget. Each screen has one so i can get to any screen with 2 clicks

Screen 3, media widget (with a strategically placed 'home' icon :D). Some of you may recognise the background... massive thanks to Qosmio for the background and media widget icons.

Screen 4, photo slideshow and yellow notes

Screen 5, email widget and calendar

Screen 6, games and cmd widgets
