This is not a new date, it was the original date Amazon UK had since a long time. Can someone confirm 9th Nov for UK release date?

Yes i can i did post today but its gone anyway call nokia uk tommorow and they will tell you forget about Amazon they will get them much much later.

Delivery of Nokia N900 stock into our Nokia stores has unfortunately been delayed by two weeks to w/c 16th November. The delivery when it arrives will be the first N900 stock in the UK and orders will be dispatched on a first ordered, first serve, basis directly from our Nokia stores. For those of you that have already pre-ordered and are expecting dispatch on the 30th October as previously advertised, please accept our sincere apologies and be assured that you are top of the dispatch list for a new Nokia N900. We have already seen working samples of the N900 and can assure you that it does exist and it will be very much worth the wait!

We can confirm that we will be the first high street chain to be offering this handset.

Yep, I also received the email about re(pre)ordering from Nokia UK online, and on the phone, the bloke confirmed that they are expecting their first shipment on 9th Nov, and may ship out on that date, but probably the next. Hope to have it by Wednesday 11th Nov.

That sounds like great news. I'm hoping the guy I spoke to just hadn't dealt with that situation before so had to go and find out what to do. I didn't get a call back, but it was towards the end of the day. Maybe I should call them back tomorrow...
