I already have the latest CSSU. I still can't get the 9 desktops. How do you exactly enable them? I checked "Manage Views", but I only see 4 available. :S

try scrolling the desktops from left to right in ACTIVATE VIEWS.

"Activate views" will show the current activated desktops.

Do you have an old version of Theme Customizer loaded? (Check your settings area)? I use to have this problem until I installed the latest version of Theme Customizer and the latest version of CSSU.

At present I have theme customizer version 0.9-77 and CSSU version 20.2010.36-2maemo15 loaded and I can see all 9 views through Desktop Settings, Manage Views.

Maybe they are there, but you cannot see them ?
Try swipeing left, and then clicking the black area after the four present desktop icons.

The extra desktops may default as a completely black thumbnail, but if you press it ( to activate) a white tick will appear.
Once its been activated, you can set a background to it accordingly.

I downloaded and ran latest version with no problems.

Thanks for this tip! I just flashed my N900, installed the community SSU and am installing/re-arranging everything again without using my back-up.
When searching for the 9 desktops, I overlooked the tiny scroll bar, but this comment did the trick!

You were supposed to use CSSU which already has 9 home screens capability.
