Hello world,

I first seen the N900 back when it was coming out and I was like I have to have this phone...sad thing was...the price. I went through a couple of phones and now since I know more knowledge about them...I'm finally going to get that N900.

Hopefully I'll be getting it in 2 weeks or so. I can't wait!!!

hello every1. i am using n900 for a year now. sometimes i hated my nokia but mostly loved it and for sure will never forget it.

N900 user and abuser from NZ. have been stalking these forums for a long time.

good at testing and development ideas. lust after powerful apps.

i have never seen another N900. even the Nokia customer store were curious about it. had it about 14 months.

Hi..

I got my n900 just last month and it quickly blew me away..

I don't know anything about linux and I am not geeky and techie (whatever you call it) but I am enjoying the coolness and awesomeness of this thingamajig!

The downside though is I have zero knowledge about all of the great stuff for N900.

Hope to get help from all of you in the future!

got tons of apps installed and been trying my hand on xterm..but only basic ones..LOL

I received this device at the Maemo Summit in Amsterdam.
It is the best device I ever had.
This is an unique community and I want to thank everybody that makes it work so great.

I'm to new to maemo and i'm verry happy to see a lot of people in this community sharing informations and experiences.

I also have a question about my account, i cannot send private message and i don't understand why. My private message folder tells me "You have 1 messages stored, of a total 0 allowed" !!

Hey all ^^

I'm Crang, a 40 year old teacher in North Yorkshire, UK. I've had my N900 since January 2010 but have started to truly explore its functionality since I got a shiny new one after three failed attempts by Nokia to repair my old one (boo!). I'm one of those turkeys who naturally upgraded to the N900 from the N95/6 so sort of fell into it, really. No regrets, though. I'll accept I'm a bit of a nub when it comes to what my device can actually do, so I'm looking forward to trawling these forums and learning about it. Great to see such an active community!

Hi guyz ! I am a new owner of a N900 since a few days. I upgraded from an old n85 and I am really impressed by this Maemo thing ! This is madness !
For now I hang on maemo.org testing app and reading docs. I hope I could be useful to the Maemo community in a near future (hopefully)
