Hi,

I wanted to play my podcasts with someplayer. So I posted over at the gpodder thread asking help from thp to add someplayer as an option in the player list. This is what he said.

Nikolai is it possible to have the playlist selection exposed via dbus as discussed earlier. I would really like to add it to somewidget.

Im a person that listen to whole albums most of the time. So a way to sort the library by album would be nice.

I usually find my self adding new songs to Now Playing, for example a whole album, and I press play and previus added songs in Now Playing are still in the list and I have to eather scroll to the newly added songs or clear Now Playing and the add the new songs again. And since I got a lot of playlists imported its a pain to find Now Playing and then clear Now Playing.

Thanks for a great musicplayer, this one allmost replace the built-in player.
i also think the issue with clearing the current playlist is a drawback - i think it should be available also from the add tracks place and without any warning window. in most times you do not wish to append songs - you wish the songs in the new playlist file you choose to REPLACE the ones that exists.

First, nice player, thnx.

Can't wait for album view to happen in 2.0 version.

GUI wise take a look at Instinctive. I like the way you click your way through their interface until you get what you want.

Click Library then choose what you want, songs, artists,album or playlist view and then you make your next choice.

But again thnx for what you did so far, really like it. :)

1.5.5-1 is almost there. Tomorrow I'll add Use button to filemanager and send it to autobuilder.
Fixes:
  • Added Portuguese (pt_BR) translation
  • Updated Italian and Polish translations
  • Added Use button to more views in library (as discussed above)
  • Autopause when BT headset unplugged
Please report me if I forgot something we are discussed to be included in this version.
