First of all first batch was 1000 and at least it can be done to this batch.
They could set 50 devices to community by vote
50-100 for app you need to submit
50 for porting teams
50 based on apps in habor/openrepos
Wait for those to get in queue and rest to sell after that.
I do not see the problem in at least giving to devs and contributors first and after that sell the rest as they did.
After all it's their interest to sell phone to someone who would give back to community/Jolla.

I can give you that. They fail to do so many things that would be in their interest that it is staggering. One wonders whether it is really just being incompetent or whether there is some hidden agenda behind it.

Yup, I remember that I fought that war too :)

But we should not judge by few. There were a lot of community programs on TMO by community/council that actually went well.
