Hey.

Just got a email from the shop.

Have translatet it to english from danish:
"We have not recieved the pack yet from our supplier, but they said that we shuld have it on monday. It is becouse the pack have been stranded on a package store with DPD in copenhagen. I am very sorry. But i hope that i shuld could sent it to you on monday"

ALL nokia websites are down. And i got this mail 1 hour ago:

"Angående release av Nokia N900 har vi ingen närmare information än att den kommer släppas under första kvartalet av nästa år.
Den kommer vad vi vet att släppas samtidigt hos alla återförsäljare."

TRANSLATION

"Regarding the release of the Nokia N900, we have no details other than that it will be released in the first quarter of next year.
It will be what we know to be released simultaneously on all the dealers."

Maybe someone hacked them... Can someone please tell me that im wrong and its still coming november?

What country is that page from? different countries appear to have different release dates..

I went to Regent Street Nokia Store yesterday. I had for 10 minutes the N900 (the was a big queue). It appeared stable, fast, pretty and better than I thought. The nice girl said that the release will be in a couple of week (I suppose she has a standard answer for everybody). However, I think the release will happen very soon.

As did I last night. Luckily the unwashed masses were elsewhere and I had the device to myself for a nice period of time.

Very impressed with it, although it did do 3 spontaneous reboots while using it. I was so excited I really didn't care. Assume it was running old firmware...

It felt really solid, weighty but in a good firm way. Not a single scratch on the screen. The keyboard looks great...really like its a computer and not a phone with all the symbols beneath the main letters.

Web browsing was very responsive although I didn't surf much. Interface will take a bit of getting used to as i'm used to Symbian, but I did try some of the shortcuts I'd read about (like Ctrl - Backspace to go to the apps menu) which made it quicker to move around the OS.

All in all I say bring on the day after the 9th Nov!!!

what kind of **** is this. Release the phone now...gt damn it. it's saturday. why dont nokia take a day of from all the bs and use their free time to deliver the phones to the stores.

Sim free shipping is most luckily to be monday 9th, and contracts on the 16th in the UK.

We aren't getting our phones this month folks. Hell, Nokia probably hasn't even flashed the phones with the updated firmware based on the feedback from those 300 people.

I check this thread every 20n 0r 25 mins in my laptop or my cellphone i will go crazy!!! please the release!!! I hope that the people of Nokiausers.net to bring us news from Espoo Finland this 10-11/Nov in the meeting The way we live next 3.0. they cover the event in real time from twitter!!!! The release please!!!! :eek:

They aren't going to flash the phones with the updated feedback.. they can't. If the phones are all packed up you seriously think they're going unpack each one and update them? That's what over the air updates are for. =P
