Can I ask those of you who ordered on Vodafone as an upgrade, how did you manage to do this? There's no link on the website and, as far as I can see, there hasn't been for about a month?

same here but my status is ready for despatch..Then again it would take a few days for it to show up on my debit card if they did it today.

I've just realised that I've switched to a new debit card. Same number, but old one expired 11/09. They haven't called me, but I think its game over now... How disappointing. Will have to ring them tomorrow I guess... :-(

EDIT: Just got a call... he's rung me to say he's going to call me back in 5 mins... odd... lol. I'm at work in an open plan office... this is gonna look BAD!

Well I am still 'pending stock' and I ordered on the 6th Oct. To say I am fuming is an understatement. Been pressing this bas***d F5 key all day:mad:

hmmm see no sign of money being taken from my account although my online banking sometimes takes a while to update on purchases.

Thx for replies guys, I wanted to see whether only credit cards were affected with these calls, but apparently debits were too.

I paid with credit card, still Ready to Dispach, no call so far.

Wouldn't read much into the call regarding delivery. I'd bet plenty of people will recieve phones with getting a call from MPD. Maybe the call is for people who haven't had the £2 debit credit this week....

Is it possible that their online system won't update until in the morning. E.g. it'll look and say oh these were sent out yesterday I'll update the status to "Despatched 03/12/2009" or am I clutching at straws too much?

Here's some interesting news:

They're shipping from multiple stores as it says in the email, not just Southampton...

I tricked one store (don't know which one) in to calling me back. They seemed SO confused when I gave them my name. After 10mins on hold, they said they couldn't find my order (I panicked) but then said "are you sure we rang you? it could be being processed in a different store..."

It didn't sound like they had very many at their end. I could hear them checking through the boxes...

There ya go!

I won't get mine tomorrow, but lots of you should!!

who said anything about 3:30 - my lot at work send out their next day deliveries at just before 5pm :) - so i wouldnt expect any change till well after then!

I was placing an order with T-Mobile telesales quite a while ago and their Royal Mail cut-off was 7pm. My order was beyond that cut-off time (20'ish past), yet still I've got phone next day. HTC Hermes aka MDA Vario that was. :)

To cut story short - relax, guys :) You've been waiting months, you can cope another day.

Hello everyone!

Just so you know, I just got a call from MPD who asked me for a new PAC code because my previous one had expired. I had actually emailed them my new PAC code earlier today but, apparently, it hadn't entered the system yet. Anyway, on to the big news, the MPD person who called informed me that my phone would be dispatched tomorrow (Friday) and that it should be with me on Saturday! This means that they are actually doing Saturday deliveries!!! :D :eek: :D

My order was placed on the 7th of October...

I thought I should mention that I too have bought phones in the past at insanely late times in the day and they still turned up first thing next day by Royal Mail Special Delivery. I think big contracts are able to ship a lot later than usual.

That said, I have just walked down to Sainsburys to get some milk and already that transaction is showing on my available balance but no N900 related amount is missing yet. :( I really would have expected them to have started billing people by now.
