I thought the 3d rendering issue wasn't just drivers, but also the lack of a DSP that can handle 800 x 480 res? (I think it was a memory limitation) <--- Someone correct me if I'm wrong....

Didn't Apple say they weren't gonna allow background applications? (an advantage the IT over apple's mobile os) OOO btw some dude is developing linux for the iphone/ipod touch..... hes almost got a public release out of the flasher or smthng...

Since iPhone and N810 have ARM processors, can be possible that we run OS X in our N810?

Regards,

Taguapire.

Maybe. If you have the time for it to boot up. I ported the PPC emulator called PearPC to Maemo using Scratchbox. After about 20 minutes of waiting for it to boot, I gave up.

What OS are you booting in PearPC? OS 9 or earlier could work. OS X can't since it uses quartz which really heavy on the non present 3d rendering.

Starcraft would be excellent!
Especially as it only needs 640x480.

There's no reason that Darwin (The Mach-ish microkernel with the BSD compatibility layer) couldn't be ported. I never looked to see whether Apple open sourced that port of it, but they certainly have with PPC and x86

As for the Aqua interface, they have never open-sourced that part of OS X and probably never will.
