I think there are some problems with double quotes involved :)

it might (very likely, there is no special strings handling ).

add some bugs here https://garage.maemo.org/tracker/?group_id=623 so i can fix them in the new version

I downloaded version 7. I went into red pill first and downloaded dependencies first.
App opened and YouTube works beautifully. Keep up the great work.

Same here...tried .4, .6, and .7 ...All have installed, but I click play and nothing happens.

Incidently I could only get it to install the python extras properly after installing wordpy (like someone else on this thread suggested)

Just out of curiosity. Did you guys go into red pill mode and install dependencies?
Version 7 loads and plays everything I select. Their might be other dependencies or apps that are blocking Mtube from working. One of the biggest blocks for me was Gnumeric it has a python issue that prevented me from loading other apps properly. The minute I removed it every app since has loaded and worked perfectly. Just a suggestion, no offense to Gnumeric developer. Dan

I haven't installed Gnumeric, unless it comes pre-installed?

i have gnumeric installed and mtube works for me.
