IMHO the emulators are perfect, both of them are plenty fast and full of options and useful tweaks, not to mention the magic on-screen controls :D
2 times out of 3 if the game doesn't work it's a crappy dumped rom... and the third left possibility for a non-working game is due to hi-demanding games...
Of course this is my personal experience that may vary from others, still usually when an application is popular it's mainly because it meets users' expectations... and all of fms work seems pretty good to me ;)

It doesn't make it that much bigger. Just puts a border around the game most of the time. =P

Well, that is as far as it can go, while maintaining the same aspect and decent speed.

Ah ok, thanks! I was just wondering about it. Another question I have is, does the pocketprinter thing actually work? I was messing around with games that support it out of curiousity.

It definitely works in the command line Unix version but I have not tested it on Maemo. Try running VGB from the command line like this:

Quote:

vgb -prnfile /media/mmc2/Printer.txt Game.gb
or like this:

Quote:

vgb Game.gb >/media/mmc2/Printer.txt
Then enable printer from the application config menu and try to print. You should end up with a nice piece of ASCII art in /media/mmc2/Printer.txt.

Is there any way to remap the hardware keys? I've tried poking around but cant find anything that looks like a key map file. It would be great to get the zoom buttons as L and R in VGBA. As a less important change I'd like to be able to remap the n810 keyboard to be a bit more comfortable to play with.

Thanks in advance.

Hmm Link's Awakening DX works wonderfully with this. But it's impossible to save normally (without the use of save states). Since it requires pushing A+B+Start+Select. >.<

Is there anyway of having more than one save state?

Haven't messed with this emulator, but if it's not possible, maybe you could switch out the one save state using Emelfm2 or maybe even writing a small script to run through Xterm to achieve this.

Just a suggestion until someone smarter than me responds. :)

Yeah, I figured maybe using copy and paste and keeping backups, but I was seeing if there was an easier way =P. Thanks for the suggestion!

Sorry to double post and bump this. But I was wondering if there was a quick way to disable the escape or remap it. I keep hitting it accidentally when I'm using the turbo. >.<
