Re: UK N900 FREE with contract - anyone ordered?
I'll wait for other offers... I will never sign a 24 month contract. I normally go for 12 months contract but pay about £100 up front.
The n900 cost less than the Touch HD when it was first released so I should at least get a similar deal. I think I paid £89.99 + £35/month for 400mins + 500txt (12 months contract). |

I will but only if I like what I hear at Maemo Summit in a couple of weeks... ;)

I have ordered from mobilephonesdirect. However, I have not got the WnW option from them. T-Mobile tell me that all of their Combo 30 contracts include WnW anyways, so I'm not sure what's going on there. Besides, I want WnW plus, which allows tethering, streaming media and has a higher usage cap. This is not available via mobilephonesdirect but can be added to the T-Mo contract after it has been set up. |

I'm not so sure 3 can be sharing their coverage with t-mobile as there is big difference in UK coverage, which is a shame, I'm in a good 3 area, but poor t-mobile. |

I don't know how far that idea went. I'm a T-Mo user but if I've used a 3 network, it's been so seamless I haven't noticed (which would be the point of course!) |
Re: UK N900 FREE with contract - anyone ordered?
T-mo and 3 are sharing the 3g infrastructure, but it is not something that can happen instantly. As another poster pointed out, it started in nov 08 and is a long and drawn out process. By now many sites will be actively sharing, but still many will not. I can't recall when they say it will be finished by, but I have read that this will continue through the orange merger. Another thing that will continue is orange sharing it's 2g network with 3 as a roming partner
