Free Mobile Internet:
You lucky giffgaff pioneers can even enjoy free UK mobile Internet up to the 1st of December 2010. After that date, mobile Internet will be charged at 50p a day (if you use less than 2.5MB/day you'll pay less than 50p and if you go over 30MB you'll be charged extra at 20p/MB). But all our goodybags that include unlimited Internet will continue including unlimited Internet after the 1st of December.
thats what it says anyway

Oh and I found this which beats every other network in the UK

"A giffgaff goodybag is a mix of UK minutes, texts, and mobile Internet that lasts for a month. You can buy a goodybag by debit/credit card or from your airtime balance if you have enough credit."

does this mean that I would need to buy one every month? is there no way to direct debit?

That'll be fine, as they're really Unlimited.
Edit: unless its tethered use as they don't allow that.

I got a free sim, going to try it for a couple of months until my Vodafone contract ends.

Just to be clear, I'm NOT using giffgaff. I was just commenting on my provider's unlimited plan being really "unlimited", or at least for values of unlimited up to about 250GB/month.

Sounded interesting at first, but:

These silly name companies come and go every few years along with their special deals.

I got my giffgaff sim yesterday, Unlimited internet and Unlimited texts (truely) was the deal breaker for me. I first thought they were going to start charging after 1st December, but thats not for the goody bags so its still pretty good.

You can have auto renew on the goody bags as well so its pretty much like direct debit.
