To get mouse pointer visible I followed this post http://talk.maemo.org/showpost.php?p=498729&postcount=1
I could not to make it visible from boot but if you open any web page with flash after boot - you'll be able to see your cursor from there on (until next reboot).

Could you please share the steps of synergy installation on n900?

It needs libXinerama1 from extras-devel to work
I had some arbitrary reboots so it's good to have in mind all those said about extras-devel (it's dangerous, do it only if you know what you are doing and if the phone is not vital for your life)

Hi,

I have used X11VNC and it works fine ... No need to worry it will not crash your N900 :D

1. Install X11VNC from Extra-devel repository on N900
2. Install a VNC Viewer on your PC
3. Start the X11VNC on N900
4. Start the VNC Viewer and PC and connect to the IP address of your N900

and VOILA! your ready to go :)... You will see the N900 UI on your PC and
You can use your PC Mouse and Keyboard to control the N900

I got x11vnc from extra-devel repository but it doesn't work , I'm starting it and in 30 seconds closes while loading .

What do you mean by closes while loading? Has it successfully connected?

That's what it's designed to do. It disappears so it's not in your way when you connect with VNC on the PC. I've been using this for some time - my tip is to make sure "Render Cursor Locally" on the Misc tab in VNC is UNCHECKED - at least you then get a little square cursor instead of nothing.

After you've disconnected the VNC Viewer on the PC, X11vnc will shut itself down, so you won't be able to connect again until you've restarted it.
