Re: tomotko menu problem with Pr1.1

I see. Actually, there are similar glitches when I run the application in the emulator. I thought they would not appear in the "real version" on a real device. Hmmm.... I'm not sure if I can do anything about it but I will check it out. It looks like an update/refresh bug when painting the screen. It's possible that it's a Qt bug... I will investigate a little bit further.

Just tried to install it and this is what I got.
Unable to install 'tomotko'
Conflict with application packages: libqt4-maemo5-network (4.6.2~git20100203~0maemo1)

I really have no idea what that means, but that's what came up when I tried to install.

o.k, I managed to install it, had to go into xterminal and type in

" sudo apt-get install libqt4-maemo5-maemo5 "

Then it installed just fine, going to test it now.

Yep, toMOTko is based on the new QT that is not installed by default on N900. Frederic, should it be identified as a dependency?

Hmm.. seems to be working fine as yet, but I still can't seem to find how to import glossaries, do I still need to use the work around?

Nope, found it, just needed a restart.

libqt4-maemo5-maemo5 is already listed in the dependencies in tomotko-0.11.2-9fremantle1. You should not have to install it manually. Anyone else can install the application and confirm this issue, please.

Also, the Import Data button is only available when a folder is selected. If a glossary (red book) is selected instead, only Export Data button should be available.

One last thing, anyone can tell me if they can switch input language while using toMOTko with CTRL+Space? It should work in all applications but someone has already reported before that it was not working properly with a previous version of toMOTko. I wonder if PR1.1 has fixed this issue.

Do you mean that you had to restart the application to see the imported glossary? If so, that is probably a bug and it needs to be fixed.

No, I meant I restarted the phone, before I rebooted the phone, I couldn't even see the glossary import button in the action menu. That may have been a unique problem to me, or I simply may have been in the wrong section (i.e, on a glossary, rather then a file))

Hi, I am currently unable to use MSCIM this way in Tomotko. Ctrl+Space switches the languages for the word-suggestor (as it used to work everywhere before I installed MSCIM). However, I expect the MSCIM to be used as in any other input box.

Any idea what I could use as work-around to input chinese characters aside from installing tomotko on my laptop (I'm using gentoo and ebuild is not available it seems)?
