Is portrait mode ever going to be available via update for text and normal functions? I have the portrait re the browser

i guess landscape and portrait-mode will have their own icon/widget-placement settings?

when meego comes, n900 will support portrait interface

If anything. They were going to implement portrait mode and most likely abandoned it

There is a way to save the desktop arrangement.. So maybe it's just a matter of making two separate settings for both landscape and portrait and just having it load them up whenever you switch.

I seriously hope they at least get Portrait if not just for texting this is all i care about. with a, im not sure of the term, alphanumeric keypad. like an old school phone. call me old fashioned but i can text on them without needing to look at the phone it is so much faster than a keyboard for quick texts.

More importantly felbutss what in the world is in your last screenshot. i can see a topless man with what can only be described as a green balaclava over his head. Then some flesh coloured ...... well i dont no what, next to a sleeping head :)
