Whenever taking photos where there is very low light and the dual led flash is used produces this issue and not surprisingly taking the back cover off solves the issue and the same was with a fren of mine. Now I'll make him register if required just to vote on this one.
Also if nokia really decides to remanufacture back cover I would love to have ability to set stand in couple different positions like in n810 and make it more strong coz I'm scared to use it at all at the moment

What are you guys talking about??? I just made a few photo's in a dark place. the pictures are excelent. far better then n95, n95 8gb and n96!!

I also dont have this problem about the flash being seen in the picture.

Maybe a "clean the lens" statement is well placed here :P

by the way how is it even possible to see the flash in the lens? light going through the air is invisible. as soon as it hits something it is shown.. maybe you should ventilate your room more often... maybe its so foggy that its shown in the camera!

Sorry Josh i cant follow you on this one

And to everyone else, if you want excelent quality photo's buy a mirror reflex camera for a 1500 euro's then you can make nice pictures! What else do you expect! with a plastic lens with no descent optics. Offcourse the camera is not super perfect! but for me it does more then any other phone does at the moment. atleast with all the other things it can do also

You seem to be missing the point, the poll is currently showing the majority of users have this problem with the blue haze. Quality isn't the complaint here, but a defect in design that is distorting the photos.

The poll shows that people with problems are more likely to respond than those who don't have them.

Please try covering the blue border that faces the camera with a permanent marker.
I did and it helped.

After:

There still is some tint but at least it's not blue.

Obviously. This is why I am trying to encourage those who don't have it to respond as well. Please refer anybody with an n900 to this poll.

Well what do you know, that does help! (it seems)
Maybe matte black paint will be even better. Let's see if I have a very small paintbrush....
