I've tested three times, the first time my latency was 345 ms (this is the time i scrolled in the web page to make sure to select 'seattle wa, as it was closest to me... The 2nd, 3rd, and 4th, time Ive gotten 130-145ms latency (just hit begin test, no messing around with selecting a location, it would select seattle, wa automatically) and 1.00-1.10 mpbs download and 0.30-0.35 mpbs upload.

EDIT: It appears that whenever I open a new page, the first speed test latency is in the mid 300ms's... but subsequent 'test agains' will always have below a 150ms latency...

I got some cheap free phone and told them to put the smartphone plan since I would be using the N900 in the future and they did it. But the cheap phone was limited to 2G. When I first got the N900 the epc was internet2 but I switched it to epc. Though I'm not sure if I need to call TMobile to let them know to get the speeds reported. I'm usually in the DC area for school and work and the epc APN works.

Either plan will give you access to the 7Mb network...whether you are in range of a 7Mb tower is another issue.
