Seriously, that's what Jaaksi, Quim, Peter, Konttori etc. have been saying here all along. They have said it many times, before and after Meego was announced.

I understand they statements were something similar to "N900 will benefit from Meego due to application availability using Qt4.6". I know they need to be careful with their posts to avoid false hope, but my interpretation was that the decision about Meego on N900 was already made. Maybe that was just me being paranoid, but the statement for Engadget at least give it more credibility.
