Re: CompUSA Closing 100 Stores
I was lucky enough to pick up an N800 demo machine from a local CompUSA on Saturday for $280 (plus tax). They also had a 770 sitting next to it going for $209. AFAIK this was the last one in any of the CompUSAs in the north-of-Seattle area except for a demo unit in the Lynnwood store that they didn't have in the system, and thus refused to sell. Anyways, I basically ended up with an N800 and a charger, but no box, manual, stylus, pouch or USB cable. All of this is fine since it's still a great deal. Anyways, I figured I'd put in my two cents here. I'm really looking forward to hacking on my shiny new N800. :D

Re: CompUSA Closing 100 Stores
The $280 wasn't just for a demo machine. I bought a brand new unit from the Compusa in Edison, NJ for $280, and they had a few more still there a day ago for the same price. The 770 was also cheaper (I though $249, but it could have been $209 like you saw). So they basically put the Nokia units at 30% off immediately for some reason.

Re: CompUSA Closing 100 Stores
dang i wish i just waited like 2 more weeks before buying my 800 cause then i would of drove the hour drive to save 100 bucks to the compusa thats going out of business near me. It almost angers me if i was a lot closer to one id buy a whole bunch of them and put them on ebay and get like 50-100 profit on everyone. But thats just me.
