Re: Sygic Mobile Maps updated

I do not have sygic yet, but that should work:
press the top hardware button, then click on phone, from there you can switch to other applications, and return to sygic when you want.

EDIT: Catalog was removed because of some confusion...

The catalog is available to update the programs of paid subscribers. If you were among the first to purchase this product and used a forum provided work arround to get up and running, you may not have this catalog installed and that was the purpose of my original post... to help. If that is the case then I would now suggest contacting Sygic support for this information.
Give that a try and see if it helps. :)

EDIT: I made the mistake of assuming that those requiring help or reporting problems were paying customers of this app. Unfortunately some may be using this forums resources in order to avoid paying for commercially developed apps.
If this is the case then it is sad on so many levels.

Some of the reasons for my sadness are:

1. The developer does not receive compensation for the fruits of their labor and as a result are not motivated to provide updates or maintain and support the product for those who did pay.

2. It sucks the enthusiasm out of those members willing to help other members who paid for the program.

3. Other commercial developers witnessing these events decide that providing Maemo versions of their products are not worth the effort and we all loose.

The purpose of this edit was not to bog this informative thread down with esoteric discussion. If anyone wishes to continue the discussion on the topic of this edit, please start a new thread and I would be more than happy to join in. :)
