Basically, it alters the equalizers for the different output (headphones, earpiece, speakers) and increases the loudness. And it adds higher volume for the earpiece. Haven't had any complains at all since using this patch!

Yup I read that too...quick question: if I already have the volumecontroldaemon installed, won't it conflict with AudioBooster? Follow-up question: do they aim at achieving the same things (headphone, speakers, earpiece)? Thanks. :)

User almehdi made a very useful application called n9tweak. In the latest version 0.2-1 he added startup script for the PreDriv so even after the restart the phone volume would be still set to 100%. No need to access the command line and change it manually.
