I dont have /sbin/powetop. Where can I get it from?

I also started having hildon-desktop taking about 15% cpu, and it was after I installed the cpumem-applet. I uninstalled it, and now the problem seems to have gone.

One issue I am having is that the battery levels reported by healthcheck and the queen beecon widget on my desktop no longer seem to be accurate (I was using my phone at 0% battery for 2 hours the other night). Strangely enough, the icon on the status bar seems to be the most accurate picture of battery levels.

Overall though, the battery seems to be much better after pr1.2.

With 1.2 I got significant improvement to battery life, 1.5days to 2days with my usage

Remove this from your Desktop. I did that yesterday, after having the same exact battery issues and the N900 lasted the day with my normal use.

Everyone coming in here saying you have better battery life now is not helping those of us who do not have better, but in fact worse battery life.

Please contribute to helping us or kindly stay out of the way! If you do have better battery life, do you have the Facebook widget on your desktop? If not, try putting it there and letting us know what happens with normal use, you will notice fast if it's being drained quickly.
