If i install this, will my edited transition.ini file be affected (removed)?

Ps : Thanks for the constant tweaks maded by the community to improve what should have been done from the start by Nokia...

It replaced my altered transitions file to the original one one, so I had to place it back in again

BTW a few minutes after installing the faster kinetic scrolling a system sound (the sound you get when you click dashboard button) starting stuttering and wouldn't stop till i rebooted, not sure if it's because of this, but it's something to keep in mind just incase more people have this issue

Ha!

I installed this package. Not for the faster scrolling, but for the post-PR1.2 fixes, and IT WORKS VERY WELL!

The call UI glitch is now over!
Thanks so much for making this release!

The other good news is that Sticky Notes still works with this new desktop. :)

Suggestion:
Add to the installation instructions that a reboot is required after installing it. It never hurts.

No. For me everything went fine after hildon-desktop restarted itself after killing it.

It's just you or you installed what Chrome installed...

<th3hate> installed Advanced Interface Switcher and advanced-power
<th3hate> now it always restarts, refuses to turn off
<th3hate> and xorg uses 100% cpu all the time

Same way you would compile any other packages, fixes I've found at the moment are for hildon-desktop, hildon-home, hildon-status-menu and hildon-application-manager.
What I'm interested in is the new pulseaudio package, but that hasn't been released yet :(

Anyways, I'll post more about this when I post links to it (SSU)

hi!
where the fixes for hildon-desktop, hildon-home, hildon-status-menu and hildon-application-manager can be found?
Thanks!

Patience is a virtue :)

I'm doing some checks to see what is affected when the Maemo 5 metapackage is upgraded, apparently the Ovi Store still works :)

Anyways, I'll announce the repo soon.
