Re: Goodbye N900. Hello N8!
I came from the Symbian Nokia N95, I've tested the N97 and own now a N900.
The N900 has many problems and needs many Buxfixes but there is still NO WAY BACK to Symbian. |

That's the only Nokia World hands on video where S^3 looks that bad. I wouldn't make too many conclusion on the basis of just one video. Who knows what hundreds of other event visitors had done, installed or left running on it. It looks much better on all other hands on videos I've seen.
Still, personally, not going anywhere near Symbian until S^4. |

It has that skinny scroll bar on the right, but is a capacitive display?? Are we expected to grow our nails long or is there a capacitive stylus included? |

Re: Goodbye N900. Hello N8!
most of the other videos i have seen for n8 are nothing like that
i would say either this girl flipped it out with her ummmm 'touching' or this device had all sorts of stuff running in background from being out on demo floor. |

i dont think the girl is using the n8 wrongly. a buit hectic, yes, but it should react anyway.
i think the used device was just overloaded and needed a reboot. |
Re: Goodbye N900. Hello N8!
Well the whole point of this thread is really, is it worth getting the N8?
After getting out of my diabolical contract with Vodafone, I am now wanting to sign up to a new contract. So I want a new phone too, so shall I get the N8 or not? Most of the reviews I have read have actually been quite positive. |
