just glanced wallstreetjournal, my company push it to our nose to read them as bible, news about the droid thing:
reported on window7 phones launch: last quarter stats market share when compare with 1 year ago, 1) MS mobile dropped from 6% to 3% 2) iphone increased from 13% to 14% 3) Android increased from 1.7% to 18% And Amazon is going to start his own android market for online apps retail, would this has anything to do with the "free apps" in the future, I am concerened :/ Android is planning an India invasion. Yes, Android is doing quite well.
I'm also glad to see an ambitious open community around the platform. With projects like: Ubuntu in Android on the Nexus One, it's promising that these two islands can grow closer together and share knowledge/code. |

Seems like Android Tablets are dropping from the sky literally
Here's another lauch ... the ZTE Android Tablet. Looks pretty nice - 7" tablet but still on Android 2.1. I wonder how the tablet on Amazon (the parent thread mentions) weighs ? That is another important consideration of a tablet that you want to carry with you while on the move - since we dont want a iPad heavy tablet for reading on he move - as it really hurts to hold it up for too long unless you rest it somewhere. |
