Guys, one last question. By doing this do you in essence lose "mass strage mode"?

I am not a linux noob, I am just almost dead today, but I sitll can't
see what''s wrong!?!?!
In my opt/.../applications folder I can see the com.gameloft symlinked folder that is on MyDocs, but the game just wont open!!!

OK mate does the game run normally?

As in if you cd to the game folder then ./GAMENAME does it start?

The reason I ask is because I had some issues with games which arose from simply moving files around too much in filebox (it's the only thing I can put it down to, after reinstalling fresh games from the .debs then just moving once it all ran smooth as silk)

Well, clicking the desktop icon, does nothing, it simply opens, then
crashes to desktop again.
When I cd /home/.../Asphalt5 , and ./Asphalt5 it gives me permission denied...
Then it's a case of chown?

Sorry but.. the most easy system:

copy che folder com.gameloft.app.asphlat5 in /MyDocs/Games

Open x-term and
Code:

cd /home/user/MyDocs/Games/com.gameloft.app.asphalt5/Asphalt5
preenv
chmod +rwx Asphalt5
cd ..
desktopgen appinfo.json

Delete the original folder (or unistall the .deb)
Done.

If the game not start or crash see the wiki for the symlink to webos folder and the right proprietes

This is starting to drive me crazy...

When I desktopgen appinfo.json it gives me

" /usr/share/dbus-1/services/ Failed to create file /usr/share/dbus-1/services/preenv-com.gameloft.app.asphalt5.service.U7NCMV : Permission denied "

Sure you have modified the files /usr/sbin/mmc-mount and /etc/default/mount-opts whit the right sintax ?

Post me the files to control

( Both files have their copies with .save , is this normal? )

You don't have saved the files!
Now i correct your files :D

The files are in a folder named mount.zip, extract the two text files to the folder and substitute your files whit this two
