The code that grabs the video url was not robust. Some videos, particularly those that YouTube have flagged as containing copyrighted content, did not work. I've improved it, and it seems to have solved the problem. I need to do more testing, though.

I'm using the global PR1.3 firmware, but I can't imagine it making a difference, so long as you have the dependencies installed.

The host site seems to have reached its "hourly traffic limit". Can it be hosted on something more friendly? :)

I'm using it and it's cool :)

Only one thing. There are some video that doesn't start playing. I tape on "Play Video" but Media Player doesn't start. I did some testing and saw that the problem is, in my case, only the videos with special characters in the title like: ç, è, é, ò, à et simila. I hope this can help you

I'll be posting an updated .deb soon, with a couple of fixes, so I'll host it using dropbox then.
