I dont have a micro sd class 6 :(
With a class 4 its very slow? Its impossible to install in the eMMC with dual boot?

@Stskeeps
Will MeeGo DE install on the internal memory?
Will this work fast on a microsd class 2? I wouldn't want to buy a new 16gb card. They are expensive here in Poland :)

I know, I live there. And no, class 6 if you want a good experience. You can test it out, but you can't complain about the speed.

We don't support eMMC installs yet as we don't like destroying user's data.

Speaking of microSD cards and destroying data... :D

Stskeeps, do you know anything about error -110 and microSD card corruption on N900? I bought 3 SD cards and only 1 works properly (a class 2), the other two cards (class 6 and 10) both suffer frequent error -110 and massive data corruption on the N900 in Maemo, but they work perfectly in every other place I've tried them. They even work on the N900 via a USB card reader and USB hostmode enabler! But in the SD card slot they are a disaster.

When I was googling the errors, I saw some logs from MeeGo development list where you were writing about this error -110, so I thought I would ask in case you ever tracked it down or have any hints where I might look to try to fix it (if indeed it is a kernel/driver problem and not hardware failure of my SD card slot).

there is nothing wrong with uboot on power kernel, those people that can't boot into maemo are having weird problems, you do know that you need to type in run loboot to boot into emmc and it boots automatically to the memory card otherwise?

I only have class 4 cards, they work well. Faster cards improve app startup and swap whilst multitasking. The overall UX is otherwise responsive and clean for me.
