firstly thanks to everyone involved with power v50 cheers (Pali, Freemangordon) :)
I am using dsp profile min @ 500 max @ 805 with sr enabled and had no playback problems and no reboots. battery life seems okay as well :)

Same here for me , no problems at all . All is running fine , no reboots , battery life OK !

Thx & Cheers :D

;) My bad, what i've meant was "oc mpu with stock dsp clocks" is not stable, stupid sentence composition by me :)

I'm aware, thats why i mentioned about 720p video playback issue, because it creates a 60+% mpu load + dsp load. only done for testing purposes and curiosity.

On which profile?

Same modified dsp profile was used was all tests (only the dsp frequencies were changes as mentioned on previous post)

Also could you confirm(not) that SR is stable for you with "default" profile loaded, i.e. no OC

Yes, it seems to be stable.

Could you please post both your custom profile and the result of kernel-config show with SR enabled, so I can compare calculated vs manually tuned values.

Custom profile :

up to 600 SR calculated values are fine, though I'm used to supplying a lil more voltage( about 1-2 steps additionally against the SR calculated (real) voltage)

@ OC freqs,

720 45 430 (caused reboot at 43 [= SR calculated voltage])
805 50 430 (causes reboot at 48)
850 52 600 (-used mainly for video recording purposes)
900 54 600 (-used mainly for video recording purposes)

DSP profile (SR) - with flat dsp rate of 430

pls note that the values are as shown on kernel config

250 23 180 - stable
500 36 360 - stable
550 38 400 - stable
600 40 430 - stable
720 45 430 - not stable
805 49 430 - not stable
850 51 430 - not stable
900 xx 430 - reboot withing 2 seconds

*ps : above result are done without touching dsp boost value.

/nkirk

Update (from old version):
Use Hildon Application Manager or via apt-get

Updated last night by apt-get
No problems at all :)
Video playback is great, same for battery life
Thx Pali, Freemangordon for the update.

1 Attachment(s)
my profile no reboots even in high load:

MINFREQ=250
MAXFREQ=900
# list of frequency configurations: each "frequency:volt,dsprate"
FREQS="0:10,90 125:21,90 250:22,180 500:29,400 550:31,400 600:33,430 720:41,430 805:45,600 850:46,600 900:49,600 950:53,600 1000:55,600 1100:60,600 1150:69,520"
SMARTREFLEX_VDD1=1
SMARTREFLEX_VDD2=1
GOVERNOR=ondemand
UP_THRESHOLD=95
SAMPLING_RATE=300000
IGNORE_NICE_LOAD=1
POWERSAVE_BIAS=0

it works even with: MAXFREQ=950. I will try SR with over 1000 :). but i do not expect it to work :)

PS.observed something else jabber does not work... keep disconnecting

edit: nevermind i was too quick

Please post some more details of what needs to be done to install working bleeding edge drivers, ie. download link, untaring, and loading snippets in xterm. Much appreciated.

FAO: EVERYONE

Code:

echo 1 >/sys/class/i2c-adapter/i2c-2/2-0030/disable_indicator_led
To disable red LED.

you will find injection capable drivers for kp50 on the authors website.

If you did not donate yet, please consider doing so.
