I try to run the Asha java version wechat with the java emulator for N9 but getting error as below. Not too sure the java emulator creator can help on this :confused:

^n9 dont have java runtime

You probably need the com.nokia.* classes from the Asha J2ME Midlet Runtime.

Maybe you can copy them from the Asha phone?

Or try to extract them from the Nokia SDKs for Java: http://www.developer.nokia.com/Devel...platform_SDKs/

Still, it's not for sure they will work with phoneme as the may use some specific features of the Nokia Java runtime which are not available there.

Why is not this a great friend to the phone port.

Like Whats App (Wazapp) that will port to the phone! Is this not possible?

Wechat Harmattan version was in development last year, but finally cancelled before release.

Don't know if its API is open, maybe it is possible to make a port to harmattan.
