Order number does seem to be sequential. I managed to put two orders in a few minutes apart by accident and they were 38 apart. I've only paid for one of them - no need to be greedy :-)

Paid for the Other Half. Hopefully it gets her in time for xmas since this is my gf's xmas present.
She went from webos to the n9 and has a Ipad for all her other needs. I don't want to have to buy something last minute because the Other Half didn't make it to cali in time for xmas.

I was wondering about the shipping charge too... thought it was included.
The other thing bugging me is Ltd TOH is just another coloured one... well it is like 250eur cheaper than the n900 was so who cares... I will buy a qwerty TOH as soon as available but I guess the first TOH will be some geeky telescope/opticals mount as photo equip seems to be always first^^

People moaning about specs need to keep in mind that iOS and android are such heavy OSs that they actually need the hardware of those 800eur devices to run smooth. My dualcore tab behaves rough sometimes even without any programs hogging... just the system on its own!

Well, yes and no - orders can be cancelled, invalid, failed payment. You can estimate that a proportion of that number are successful ones ;-)

EDIT: one order can contain multiple devices as well.

Also, the "2" at the beginning may mean something, often the site/store where you are selling from. So you will be restricted to a site/store. Perhaps DNA has their own, and we know nothing about what's going on in China.

I agree - but it is rough estimation as I said. At least we know we have tens of thousands or hundred thousands etc. :)

Confidence reaches in two directions.

Maybe find a sign of faith in delivering a good product by Jolla in the fact we are allowed to complete pre-order payment till Dec 2nd, days after the DNA party is finished and the drunken rants that will pass as first reviews have hit the internet during during the cold night of Nov 27th - 28th. :p
